Valeria Ilareva specialises in human rights, immigration and refugee law in Bulgaria since 2001. Her expertise includes procedural representation of foreign nationals before administrative decision-making bodies for acquiring residence permits, international protection or Bulgarian citizenship. Valeria Ilareva also provides legal assistance at immigration detention centres in Bulgaria. Mrs. Ilareva represents her clients before courts, including both national courts in Bulgaria and European ones such as the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg and the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg in cases concerning Bulgaria.
